With our roles decided for the event my task is to liase with Nathan the days photographer and also Matt, my co-editor, to create a small video package for the visitors to watch at the end of the day. So firstly I arranged a meeting one Thursday afternnon where we spoke about the types of photos Nathan should try and get and also the type of music which the pictures should be edited to. So after a brief chat we decided the music should be fun and ubeat in keeping with the days theme, me and Matt decided we would go away and look at various songs and keep eachother posted on what we thought was good, after severall suggestions from each of us we decided upon a track "someday" by the strokes.
After the content of the video was decided it was time to arrange how we were going to go about doing this. I emailed Rich Wood to ask about the availability of using the middle floor on the gatehouse for the editing of the video on the day, he emailed back and said this was all ok and booked me in for the day, I then spoke with Nathan who informed me that he would be bringing his camera for the day to shoot the photos, I also chatted with Jess who said it was ok for us to use her video camera for any use of motion images if we wanted to do so, now everything was arranged it was just waiting for the day its self......
